Below is something for one of my best friends, Staci. We all lost Staci last year when she passed away. Staci was a bright light in such a gloomy world. I knew her for close to thirteen years and there isn’t a day that goes by thatI don’t think about her. I know the rest of us feel the same way. I owe her for a lot. She taught me to be outgoing, to laugh at myself,to not be so uptight, to appreciate Michael Jackson music, that it’s okay to sometimes be a creeper (as long as you can walk like one), that Hot Chips are REALLY hot, to pursue my art, to not be afraid of anything the world has to throw at me, to face life completely head-on…. I love her and miss her very much. She owns a piece of my heart forever. So I drew this for you, girl. I hope you like it.I love you more than you can possibly comprehend.——Casey (a.k.a Gandhiq.)
